Big Mill Antique Mall – Located at 151 8^th Street NE Fort Payne (three blocks from the Depot Museum and Opera House). The mill was built in 1889 and became Fort Payne’s first hosiery mill in 1915. It was named the W.B. Davis & Son Hosiery Mill. It now houses an Antique Mall and Deli and is on the National Registry of Historic Places. Call (256) 845-3380 for more information.

DeKalb County Health Department – Community room located in the Health Department in Fort Payne. Seats around 50 people. Currently free of charge for community use. Contact Patty Leonard at (256) 845-1931.

DeKalb Theater – Located in Historic Downtown Fort Payne. Professional sound system available at no extra charge and stage for performances. Theater with bleachers seats 400 people. Tables & chairs without bleachers seats 150 (dining). Room for 200 standing (dance floor) without tables, chairs and bleachers. Non profit (churches & schools) up to 3 hours $50.00. Non profit 3-8 hours $100.00. Private groups (reunions, plays, receptions) up to 3 hours $100.00 and 3-8 hours $200.00. Call Frank or Tonya at (256) 997-0396 for more information and reservations.

DeSoto State Park Lodge “Mountain Inn Restaurant” – Located just off the Lookout Mountain Parkway in DeSoto State Park. The Canyon Room seats 35-45 people. DeSoto Room seats 25-30 people. The Main Dining Room seats 64-70 people. Call (256) 845-5380 or 800-568-8840 for prices and reservations.

First United Methodist, Christian Life Center – located at 206 Grand Ave. North Fort Payne. Seats over 300 people. No political events of any kind allowed. Contact Mary McGuire for prices and reservations at (256) 845-1141.

Holiday Inn Express - Our V.I. Prewett meeting room can hold 25 + people and is available for day, evenings and weekends for business, baby and bridal showers, reunions and other occasions. Rates are $100 per day and $50 per 1/2 day and includes coffee, tea and water. Catering is available upon request. 256-997-1020

Hunt’s Reception Hall – Located beside the Opera House and Hosiery Museum in Historic Downtown Fort Payne. $100.00 for 3 – 8 hours. Tables and chairs for 110 people. Call Walter Weatherly at (256) 845-6071.

Mentone Inn – Located in the heart of Historic Mentone. Seating available for up to 50 people. Entertainment and food provided by Chas Catering. Room fee is $300. Additional information can be obtained by EMAIL or by contacting Chas or Gloria at 800-455-7470.

Ponderosa Bible Camp - Located in Mentone atop Lookout Mountain, our facility is rented August - May for meetings, reunions, retreats and weddings. We offer a beautiful new chapel/meeting room with central heat and air and seating for up to 250. We have a dining hall with seating up to 130. Tom Bevill Enrichment Center – Located at 115 Main Street Rainsville, beside the Rainsville Church of God and close to Northeast State College. 2 small rooms, 15 people each $20.00 a room. 1 medium room, 30-35 people 30.00. Auditorium, 250 people $80.00. Kitchen rented separately for $20.00. Entire building under 6 hours $150.00 or 6hrs or more $250.00. For events with Live Bands or DJ’s there is a $100.00 deposit required. Reservations recommended 6 months in advance. Call (256) 638-4343.

Wills Valley Recreation Center – Located on the North End of Fort Payne by Wills Valley Elementary School. 4 Single meeting rooms for up to 25 people each or rooms combined to hold from 50-100 people. Gymnasium (capacity 1,500) – 4 hours or less $400.00, 4 hours or more $750.00. Meeting rooms range from $25.00 to $150.00 depending on hours of use and size of room. Winston Place Bed & Breakfast – Located in Valley Head. This Historical 1831 Antebellum Mansion was originally the home of the distinguished Winston Family of Winston Hall, Yorkshire, England.
